On 15th August 2018, Pioneer International School, celebrated Independence Day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion. Director of Pioneer International School, Dr. CA Prashant Jain and parents graced the occasion.
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect. The celebration started at 9:00 a.m with the hoisting of National Flag. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, Dr. CA Prashant Jain, Director of the school unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation.
Thereafter, the cultural program began with the lighting of the lamp. Principal Mr. Akash Jain welcomed the parents with a welcome speech.
The students sang the patriotic song, and presented many other cultural programmes. New India Pledge was taken by the students to eradicate poverty and corruption. Director Dr. CA Prashant Jain emphasized on hard work and honesty. He urged the students to search for new fields of work and to be careful towards health and hygiene. He said that the sovereignty and integrity of the country should be maintained.
Students of class III recited patriotic poems in the Kavya Manch. These types of colourfulpresentation received much deserved applause from the audience present. The Vice Principal, Ms. Ragini Mathur thanked the parents for their encouraging presence. All the staff members were present at the occasion. Sweets were distributed at the end of the programme.
