NAND KE ANAND BHAYO JAI KANHAIYAA LAL KI

As is the tradition every year Janamastami was celebrated this year in the premises of Pioneer International School, Sonkatch. The tiny tots looked adorable in their traditional costumes and the entire area was transformed into a land of joy. Children performed beautiful dances on this occasion. It was nonetheless brought to life by the scintillating dance performances that represented His ‘Leelas’ and depicted the importance of the occasion. This was followed by a couple of group songs on the childhood of Sri Krishna.

A fancy dress competition for Nursery to UKG was also held where the girls were decked up as Radha and the boys as Sri Krishna. With their laudable performance, they lighted up the stage and mesmerized the audience. Ms. Karishama Dhawane & Mr. Sourabh Jain were the judges. The students were judged on the basis of their make-up, expressions as well as level of confidence. About 50 students participated in the event. The teacher coordinator thanked the Principal and everyone concerned who made the event such a success. The programme ended with the National Anthem.
